We're back on this live show bullshit, rolling the D20 and declaring the "winners" of Outlander season 7A. Thanks to The Oasis Tavern, thanks to our bartenders Elizabeth and Michelle, thanks to Joseph our amazing karaoke jockey, and thanks to the regulars who actually kind of enjoyed it early on a Saturday.

Allison and Julie chat AT LENGTH about Outlander season 7 episode 8 "Turning Points." We really, really loved this episode. It has everything - Claire being a bad bitch, Jamie feeling things, Weeian and Rachael being hot, and sooooo much hot pess. This season has been excellent so far, and if they keep it up, we think the second half will be just as good!
 
We'll have plenty of other stuff to say about the first half of season 7 so stay tuned! We'll get through this Withoutlander the best way we know how...together.

Who the hell is that guy?? We all felt that, right? It wasn't just us....right?

Whiffed "Nuckelavee" reveal aside, there's a lot of good stuff to talk about in this episode. Claire being a boss bitch! Willie being the worst spy! Jamie finally accepting the mantle of Terminator! HAND FLEX!! We promise we don't really think they are throwing shit in there just for us, but the waulking wool lady felt a little on the nose.

Another excellent episode! We especially appreciated the modern story line. Roger has gone full daddy and we are here for it! Bree is a boss-ass bitch! Their kids are weird! Their house is a haunted fairy castle! Bree works in a dam filled with dick rock jizz!
 
The past plot lines are good, too. We love a good Murder House. And we always enjoy when a man of discernment and taste figures out that Claire is amazing (Thank you Dr. Denzel).
 
Guess how many French dudes we can name? Now choose half that number.

We enjoyed this episode even if it wasn't the most action-packed (other than the inevitable fire and all those windows exploding, RIP all nine thousand big house windows). Amazing costuming work in this one, and lots of great hot pess! We have returned the favor by recording this episode in which we indulge in quite a bit of hot pess ourselves.
 
Everyone be glad that Adso survived, because if not, we would have peaced out.

Everything else was pretty great, though. Thank goodness we get to see David Berry back as the most excellent Coinface/Lord John Grey! The core actors really nail it in this one. We have several discussions about butt jewels, like we would. Enjoy!
